Ms. Judy Ishler
Guidance Counselor Graduating class of 2016
Ms. Ishler joined the guidance staff at Phoenixville Area High School in 1997. Prior to1997, she taught Family and Consumer Sciences at Phoenixville Area Middle School for nine years. Ms. Ishler received her Bachelor of Science degree from Mansfield University in Home Economics Education. She earned her M.Ed. in Technology in Education at Rosemont College and M.Ed. in Secondary Counseling at West Chester University.
Mrs. Liz Kilpatrick
Mrs. Kilpatrick joined the guidance staff at Phoenixville Area High School in 2013. She has 10 years work experience from the School District of Philadelphia, and her most recent position was a high school counselor at Roxborough High School. She received her Bachelors of Science from the Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies. She then obtained her Masters of Education in School Counseling at Duquesne University.
Ms. Kimberly Osborn
Guidance Counselor Graduating class of 2018
Ms. Osborn joined the Guidance Department at Phoenixville Area High School in 2013. She graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Lehigh University in Sociology/Social Psychology and Journalism. In May 2013 Ms. Osborn received her Masters of Education in Secondary School Counseling from Lehigh University.
Mr. John Shackelford
Guidance Counselor Graduating class of 2017
Mr. Shackelford joined the PAHS guidance department in 2012. Previously, he taught secondary English for ten years collectively at three different schools - Westtown School, West Chester East High School and Phoenixville Area Middle School. He received his Bachelor of Science in Secondary English Education at the University of Delaware, his Masters of Education at Gratz College and his Secondary School Counseling Certification at Widener University.
Mrs. Rebecca Doutrich
Mrs. Doutrich joined the Guidance Department in 2013. Prior to coming to Phoenixville Area High School, she worked as a school counselor at Mount St. Joseph High School in Baltimore, Maryland. As an undergraduate she attended Towson University in Maryland and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, with a concentration in Human Development. She also earned her Master of Education degree in School Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
