Mrs. Keya Champagne-Lee assumed the role of Barkley Elementary School principal in August of 2011.

Prior to joining the Phoenixville Area School District, Mrs. Champagne-Lee served as vice- principal for 5th and 6th grade students in the Norristown Area School District.

Mrs. Champagne-Lee earned her Bachelor’s degree in Special Education at West Chester University. She earned her Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from PennState University. Mrs. Champagne-Lee holds content area teaching certification in middle school mathematics and middle school language arts.  Additionally, she holds certification as an elementary and secondary principal and certification as a supervisor of special education.  Mrs. Champagne-Lee is currently pursuing her doctoral degree at Immaculata University.

Mrs. Champagne-Lee is a proud Phoenixville resident. She and her husband have two children, Julien and Jayla.  In her spare time, Mrs. Champagne-Lee enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with her family.
