  • With your help, Phoenixville Area High School will be THE ONLY US students at the prestigious International Young Physicists Tournament (IYPT) in Thailand!
Please help us compete by donating to our trip here.
As you might imagine, the trip is expensive. We have already raised over $10,000, but we need to double that in order to make this journey a reality. Together we can show the rest of the world what a small, public high school in America can do!

  • Congratulations to the Phoenixville Area High School students who recently participated in the USA Youth Physics Tournament!
    IYPT Team
PAHS students squared off against some of the best schools in the world in a competition of scientific research, presentation and debate.  The participants included Remin University High School, the top-rated secondary school in China. PAHS finished in fourth place, behind three US schools consistently ranked among the top private or boarding schools: Harker School, Woodberry Forest School, and Rye Country Day School.  The only other school to finish ahead of PAHS was Nanjing Foreign Language School, ranked 110th among all high schools in China. The students of PAHS are preparing for the International Youth Physics Tournament (IYPT) that will take place in Thailand at the end of June where they will be representing the United States.
